Second Nature Theatre Company is an Unincorporated, not-for-profit, Association which was formed by 3 passionate and creative artists that seek to challenge the notions of theatre and the society that we live in and aims to provide high quality, entertaining and accessible theatre.
The core company consists of Artistic Director, Playwright and Designer. Artists in collaboration feature actors designers, facilitators and Theatre Companies.
Playwright… Ross Andrews … is a member of the Playwrights' in Development Group at the Royal Exchange Theatre, Manchester. "The Judgement of Mr Jenkins" is his fifth play.
Designer… Julia Walker … studied Theatre Design at Nottingham Trent University. Since graduating in 1992 she has worked as a costume/prop maker in Theatre, Film and TV including: Royal Exchange Theatre, Crucible Theatre, West Yorkshire Playhouse, Oldham Coliseum and Manchester’s Commonweath Games. She has designed: ‘The Judgement of Mr Jenkins’ for Second Nature Theatre Company, 'The Tempest' for the Derby Shakespeare Co, performed at Minak Theatre Cornwall and 'Exchanges' for Royal Exchange YouthTheatre.
We are very pleased to be working with Neil A. Edwards as Associate Playwright for various projects. Neil is a member and founder of Liverpool Playwrights and an MEN Theatre Award nominee.
